6. Read it out loud. Anywhere you stumble or run out of breath, a human wouldn't have written it that way. Rewrite that sentence from memory without looking — what comes out is usually the natural version.

7. Add one imperfection of voice. A parenthetical aside, a rhetorical question, a sentence starting with “And”. Polished-but-voiceless is the AI signature; controlled informality is yours.
